Portraits on Graph paper

Portraits on Graph paper. More portraits on my Facebook page.
I like to experiment with papers and add some photsoshop into the mix. I really like the results. I seem to be getting more adventerous with each portrait!

Chiaroscuro Life drawing

I go to life drawing classes in The Drawing Studio, Clarendon Street, Dublin on Monday evenings.
I have never worked with Chiaroscuro method before. I really enjoy it, just need to work on the old perspective a bit more. http://www.drawing.ie/

What is it about Pigeons

I don't like them but I have pictures of them. Messing around in photoshop with a pic I took today of pigeons taking flight. (Ok, I may have shooed them!). I like the effect though. This is the original photo http://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2111254

Monsters!

Paul Duffy, Nicola Colton and I are creating Monsters every week and publishing them on Facebook. Last week it was a Minotaur, this week it's a Werewolf. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.198975283556156.42851.193523804101304&type=1#!/photo.php?fbid=198975343556150&set=a.198975283556156.42851.193523804101304&type=1&theater

We have very different styles of work and we have decided to write a bit of blurb about each one weekly.

TIN TIN CAN!

Submission for a Tin Tin themed exhibition.

Whilst researching Tin Tin, I found the following: "... well-researched plots straddle a variety of genres: swashbuckling adventures with elements of fantasy, mysteries, political thrillers, and science fiction".
Sound familiar? (apart from the swashbuckling adventures). Sounds like the current political situation in Ireland to me! So I thought if anyone could 'save' or 'solve' Ireland, Tin Tin can! Then it hit me, "IS FEIDIR TIN TIN". (Thanks Mr Obama).
